Insecure Memes for People With a Shaky Sense of Self

Very few people feel good about themselves all of the time.

In fact, some would wager that absolutely no one does. Even when life is played on easy mode, we can come up against challenges and setbacks that make us question how we see ourselves. Everyone has some insecurities that will get triggered by the right chain of events, and it can shake up even those who have good coping mechanisms for them.

This means that there is little hope for the rest of us who are not as practiced at keeping calm in the face of calamity. Every day brings a new opportunity for something bad to happen, and who knows how long it may take us to recover? While walking around, being negative all the time is not a productive state of mind to be in, but it happens for a reason.

At least when we feel down in the dumps in this day and age, we know we can rely on internet culture to have our backs. There are plenty of occasionally or permanently miserable people out there who like to make the most of their sadness and insecurity by turning it into morsels of internet entertainment. This is the dark side of relatability, but it is also something that many would deem necessary. It shows that even at our lowest points, we are not truly alone. There are others in this world who have gone through their own doubts and hard times, and used them to make this content.
